This week’s PGA Tour tournament is the 2024 Shriners Children’s Open, a long-running event held in Las Vegas, and we’re picking a winless Swedish pro whose game is rounding into form as our long shot. Here’s our long-shot pick, the Shriners Children’s Open odds, betting favorites and everything else you need to know.
Shriners Children’s Open odds: Long-shot bet
Our long-shot pick for this week’s Shriners Children’s Open is Henrik Norlander, who comes into the week with +6600 odds-to-win.
The Swedish veteran is rarely a top pick at any tournament, and for good reason. Norlander has never won on the PGA Tour, and he’s only managed one top-10 finish in 2024.
But the 37-year-old has been saving his best game for the fall. He finished T28 at the Sanderson Farms Championship, before contending at last week’s Black Desert Championship and finishing T8, his best result of the season.
We’re hoping Norlander can ride that positive momentum to a maiden Tour victory this week.
If you bet a $10 bet on Norlander to win and he does it, you’ll earn $660. Consider placing additional small bets on Norlander to finish top 10 and top 20 for insurance.
Looking for more long-shot bets for the Shriners Children’s Open? This week’s honorable mentions are Adam Svensson (+5500) and Kevin Yu (+5500).
